No IPv6 address
- IPv6
- Internet Protocol version 6
- AAAA
- IPv6 address record
The site has no AAAA record. IPv6 is useful, but not required for a healthy IPv4 site.
What is IPv6?
IPv6 is the newer internet addressing system designed to provide a much larger address space than IPv4. An AAAA record lets IPv6-capable visitors reach a service without translating through IPv4.
What to do next
- Confirm that your hosting provider supports IPv6.
- If it does, add the exact AAAA value it supplies.
- Do not invent or copy an address from another service.
How to verify the fix
Test from an IPv6-capable connection after DNS has propagated.
When this result may be wrong
This is an informational result. Many valid sites deliberately remain IPv4-only.
